Due to the sudden freedom from work, I am just going to update things that I did in the holidays now and then, thus just bear with me for 3 months, it will be soon over. :P
First thing that is down for the holidays was that I finished up da vinci code. I personally find it quite digestible since dan brown doesn’t use bombastic words that seemingly don’t appear in our daily usage of English.Dan brown also don’t go too descriptive on his stuffs, unlike LOTR, which I could not complete since the description is 2-3 pages long, occurring at a frequency that was far too high for my tolerance and having far too many poems popping up in the book. The result was that I only completed half of the series and they are currently collecting dust in my cupboard. So my advice to all is to watch the movie and forget about the book. Currently, I’m starting on digital fortress but I feel that there was a vague similarity between the books. I shall just read on and hopefully, the new book will give me surprises.
