Interesting happenings.

Was having lunch with one of my colleague.

Colleague: Hey later i go buy toner during lunch.

Me: Toner? What brand is your printer?

Colleague: No lar, i go bodyshop buy toner.

Me: Huh? Bodyshop sell toner?

Colleague: Toner for face lar!

Me: No wonder your face so black.


Was chatting with another colleague.

Me: Wat a nice bag you got there.

Colleague: Ya lor, its a new clutch bag from Coach!

Me: Wat did you call the bag that looks like a oversized coin purse?

Colleague: Clutch bag. You clutch it between your hands lar!

Me: The only clutch i know disengages the gears from the engine, you know?


Another one, colleague was checking with me on some XXX tube TV.

Colleague: Hey, you got hear of this XXX tube TV?

Me: No le, is it a misspelled cathode tube TV?

Colleague: No lar, you see, its this name XXX.

(After running a search on google) Me: Seems like a brand name.

Colleague: Nvm, i go check with the email sender, see what sort of tube this TV have.

Me: Yeah, maybe its from MANGO, the next thing you know, they have mini skirts too.


Yeah, seems fun working here. Ppl always say we IT guys should talk in layman terms. I think the girls should talk in layman terms to the guys too wor.

Hmmm... Recently i wanted to upgrade my sound system for turntable. Marantz was selling a 40 watt amp with phono inputs for 288. And a very value for money speakers for 499. Hmmm... If i buy, no need to buy PS3 le... 800 on this le... And maybe a decent SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc, yeah the other players are normal nia) player for 588 to boost up the value... GF not around to control my spending... I overspend again... How to get married?
