Harlo ppl. Todae is a good dae. My interview passed smoothly, short listed for another tomolo.(who ever heard of two interview one? I oso dont noe...) And i caught the movie, passion of Jesus le. Haiz, too much hype, didnt live up to me expectation but still quite a good movie. Dont watch if u r not a christian, noe nuts abt Jesus or Christianity as a whole. Cause its all abt a guy getting tortured, caned, flogged, crucify and dying in a over staged death. Nothing really.

So like i said, if u r not a christian and couldn be bothered(like an agnostic) dont bother watching. Its very bloody, rather violent(boy, i couldn really stomach the flogging part... no human should ever go through that.... the pain...), a pain to watch.

Apparently Mel Gibson(the director in case u dont noe) said he went through alot of research for this film to accurately present the last 24 hours of Jesus life. From wat i can see, other than the costumes for the high priest, and one of the towels Jesus used to wisp his bloody face(hey i am not cussing, his face really bloody wor), there are no other parts which shows his research. Roman costumes and the rest we have taken for granted le, or maybe im too dumb to noe the diff.... Oh maybe he omit the parts that are irrelevant wor... Quite true to the bible i would say. Maybe not so when it comes to the reaction of the Romans soliders.

The costumes of the high priest, i am not sure wat they wear during that time but from wat i can see in the movie, Mel puts in quite an effort there. And the towel that jesus used to wipe his bloody face(i say le la, his face really bloody!), if u notice closely, it still retain the image of his face after his believer/follower(i dont noe wat to call the girl...) hold it after Jesus wipe his face. Frm wat i remember reading, that towel really exist! I am hunting through all my records of this stuff but i cant find the name of the towel(thanks to shannen, hes a guy btw if u think its a gals name, me too man, but anyway he said the cloth's name is shroud of turin. a learned man, tat shannen). It is kept in some museum somewhere. Do email me if u noe abt this thing. And frm wat i read b4, it has been proven that that particular towel is a fake. Expertly done to show the age of the towel.... Heehee and one thing, who wipe his face by just pressing the towel to your face? Oh ya i forgot... Jesus different wor...

And frm one book i read, i put it across nicely. It said "if such a significance is put onto one man, who was born from a virgin, who could walk on water, heal the sick, raise the dead, rose from the dead, it suggest two things. Either something seriously defective in the teachings or, more likely, there is something seriously defective in the believer's faith. Any thoughtful Christian would concur that Jesus' primary significance resides in the message he sought to communicate. And that message gains nothing by virtue of Jesus' having been ceibate(means he still virgin lar), nor does it lose anything by virtue of his having been married."

Cool hor? Frm reading my blog for so long, u should noe my standard of english cant cook up something that grand. I find that para frm the book rather logical. Ppl put too much empasize(sorrie couldn speel it after so many tries... i gave up... i noe should use the empasise one... can speel properly... need grammar sch...) on Jesus doing so much for the people, he died for all our sins(try going to a church and hear them say stuff abt him) but they never really concentrate on his teachings. Love thy enemies... I like tat. Who can really do it?
