Okie, abt the government, i noe that it is an interesting and common topic u find in forums, chats or wat not. Even ppl in other countries like to talk about the government here. Thing is, i dont really care.(and i think majority of the population here thinks the same. they just complain and crap, but dont really care at all) Why is this so? Ppl frm other countries, esp taiwan, says that the population here has no balls, dont dare to speak up for themselves. But see wat taiwan is getting themselves into?(they can even fight in the parliarment, sorry seng :P) The actual fact is the government here is good. They are responsible, approachable, intelligent and hold themselves well in public. And they lead transparently(though abit the translucent and with an iron fist) and stamps down real hard on corruption.

And to note, we are the best governed countries in asia. Public security, taxes, ammenities, standard of living(i noe this is one of the main complains here but hey, why complain when wat we have is HIGH???), fair treatment in all sort of aspects, not much racism(i noe it still exist to a certain extent but the situation here is alot than wat is in the US), one of the few countries in the world not in national debt, good education system, good system for the ungifted, ex convicts, disabled. Wat more can a country ask for? We can walk safely in the middle of the nite(if u are not a chio bu dressed up sparringly walking in a damn deserted road), everyone here owns a TV, mobile phone, at least been to a restuarant once, and had at least gotten out of singapore once(i mean travelling). Y complain? At least we are not starving, living in atap huts(we got HDB) and doing nothing except lazing around. We can at least get by in singapore.

Wat i want to say is all the negative effects we see, such as rise in GST, high standard of living, high cost for flats and cars and cigarettes, damn strict censorship(but hey, arabs and islam states are worst off man), some stupid bans(i cant stand this, why ban Jap Porn imports? I want to support original for that! oh ya, they lifted the chewing gum ban le heeheehee, high time too). So let me explain why.

High GST is actually good. Y? U see, if they want to raise taxes, they can just raise the income tax or the or the import/export taxes. By raising income tax, everybody will feel it(not that we get much welfare(read: british/US type of welfare) here). Raising import/export taxes(And all other taxes that is not directly involved with the general population) will scare of investors from other countries and those investors will choose countries around us to work with, in turn, cutting down jobs here. But GST, hahaha, is a fair tax. How so? So lets say u got the ability to buy a big item, maybe a car, then u pay more GST. U can afford it mah. So if u r a damn "niao"(stingy) kind of guy, u dont have to pay much GST at all. In turn, it is much more "fair" than income tax. But then, they did strike a balance between the two, and the taxes for them are still quite reasonable. (They did a comparison on other countries, saying that the tax here are lower than those countries but then, wats their standard of living? But they might want to do that, onli thing is scared no one understand. Not everyone study econs(me never study) or thinks as much as me, or as intelligent as me, or as "yan dao" and me, shit i can go on and on but it is getting irrelevant.

Standard of living getting high. Hmmm. This is actually good. As a nation progresses, it is standard that the standard of living will increase. If not, all those economist can jump down from raffles hotel and other countries will hold us in high regards. It is a by product of progress. Think the term is called inflation. Slight inflation is actually good for the economy here, on the gobal scale(so ur yearly raise is just to counter this inflation, dont get too glad). Just to add, the economy here is actually a "classroom perfect" economy. I dont really noe why but not alot of countries can be as perfect as singapore and my friend(Xephyris Tahara D're) tells me so.

Think the high cost of cars and flats, all of us already noe the reason. If we dont control the cost of cars, we will be like manila le. Bad traffic, congestions and all the likes. And if the cost of flats are not controlled(and the registering process), well-to-do assholes will buy more than one flat, rent them out(certified profitable in the long run) or use them for illicit activities. Then poor ppl like me will have to rent from the rich assholes and inturn, rich gets richer, me gets poorer.(cause on the long run, new houses will earn some thousands for the owner, you noe that already.) Okie, cars. Why so ex? I myself loves cars and really hate it when their cost is so high. Not in my life can i ever drive one le(except if my wife is the daughter of some CEO of a big MNC). And the value of cars gets depriciate the moment u drive it out of the showroom. This is to turn off poor fucks(like me) not to get a car when u just strike 4D. U need to be able to support it first. But the transportation here in singapore is very good le. And i have calculated, u can call cab for every little travels(like just going to work, getting to the shopping mall nearest to ur place) and the cost is alot cheaper than driving ur own car. And u got ur own "ahmad" to boot.

Strict sensorship. See? Due to this thing, i can never set up my BONSS!(if u dont noe the meaning of BONSS, refer to the previous blog) Ppl here are just not open minded enuff. They still think that been conservative is good. WE MUST CHANGE THIS THINKING!!! Children now a days are not as well informed in sex as the children in other countries! This is bad cause in turn, they develope a sick curiosity on the opposite sex and girls will lose their virginity young! Just look at the abortion rate on girls below 18! There is at least once such news every few daes. Or girls getting f*cked by other guys, and the girls do it willingly, onli thing is, they underaged.(f*cked man, why these things never happen to me? WHY HAS THOU FORSAKEN ME?) Spare the porn and spoil the child, have u not heard of this saying????

Stupid bans. So far, none of it has affected me so i dont have much to add here. I am not an addict of chewing gums, nor a druggie so i dont mind bans. It keeps us safe and free of the side effects frm them too. BUT WHY BAN JAP PORN IMPORT?!?!?!?! WHY??? U want us to live on US/malaysia kind of crap?(or watever is out there on the net) U noe the reason why Singapore is rated "the lowest sex life among married couples in asia"? U are proud of that? U are still fumbling to noe the reason behind declining birth rates? Why girls get themselves f*cked so early in their lives??? THIS IS THE SOLE REASON!!!!! WHY BAN PORN!!!!! PORN IS GOOD!!!! FOOD FOR THE SOUL!!! "If u watch porn regularly, there is no need for religion" -Banedon.

Cigarettes hike. I quit smoking when i started aikido. Period. (oh and some of my friend quitted "quit smoking" and i would say, TOLD U SO!)

About the SDC thingy, Janson(who ever u r, i dont noe u in rl, but if i do, do knock me in the head to rem u) u r absolutely rite. Their is nothing much to talk abt it too. Cause the non-degree holders hit the sack real early in their life. Learn from them. One vital hint is "beggers cant be choosers".

About the replies i get about my BONSS, i think i will kick start it in the near future. But no, it is a ONSS, not an orgy.(u know, one to one kind of thingy?)
