Harlo ppl, rem that time i said i am going to the mama mia musical? I went yesterday and it was very good, very spontaneous. So if u have a couple of hundreds to spare, do give it a try, and u might have known, the tix are a sell out, even on week days. I went yesterdae, which is a tuesdae, and the place is packed, from 4th to 1st storie. So this issue will concentrate on everything and anything i see there.

So it is held at the durain structure u guys will find familiar in singapore. And if u r wondering, yeah, i experience quite a bit of the upper class thingy when i work here. Wine appreciation, musicals, plays, god noes wat higher class stuff they have. And the higher the class the activity is, the higher cost it is. And the are tempting, very very indeed.

U see, phychologically, when u pay 100 over bucks to see a few guys run around a stage and scream their heads off, doing extreme facial expressions and body movement(kinda reminds me of acting cute, or exegerate facial and body language), u get a certain kind of indescribable kick, and u will, no doubt, feel that it is worth your buck and u had a pleasant evening. Because its upper class, cost 20 times a movie tix, if ur late u can onli enter during the intermission, and everybody wears a shirt in there. So after all these hassle, u will enjoy it. Trust me. I know.

So much for my thoughts, the funny thing is, that mama mia is really good. Its like a concert of an idol, they act, they sing, and dance around. If u spend hundred over for jay chou concert, this is a must go. And i think i will go concert in future. The feeling is just different. And hundred bucks isnt that much anyway.

Okie, the theater they used for this thingy is for plays(diff frm e symphony recitals). There's the stage('obviously), the podium, which is normally the seating area for a cinema. And this podium, whichever angle, cost double my tix in order to seat there. And there is a foyer, something like a 2nd story thingy. My tix can only seat here. And there is a 3nd and 4th story thingy but i think they cant see shit over there. I can onli see some shit from where i am. And if u buy the 50+ or 20+ tix, u get the 3rd, 4th story seats, at the extreme left or right side. The center for 3rd and 4th cost the same as me tix. So u see, either u really spend alot, somewhere between 250 to 300, for a good place, or u need 100 odd for a not bad place. The rest, u can onli see 1/4 of the stage and hear the thingy, if u get a kick from those.

And so, not to be a poser, i really feel it is expensive and not feasible for one who earn so little, to spend so much on entertament(like urs truly). But then again, it creates topics, blog issues and the likes frm one such experience, esp if its on the company's expenses. Arh... a great experience nonetheless.

So not to bore u guys to bits with so little substance, i decided to stop here. But dear readers, if any of u want to pay big bucks just to see a few ppl run around acting like fools(i get a kick seeing them do such stuff) with music enuff to make u go deaf, do let me noe and i might just join u. Ciaos!

Harlo ppl, just realised that this is my 101 blog issue. And that i havent really blog for some time. For all those who read all my blog issues since day one,(which i dont think any exist) kudos to you. And the reason i dont blog often is because of my current work. I have no time now man.

If u are wondering, my current job is a damn bz one. I am one of the guys that handle everything IT related in the company, on a global scale. Initially i tot that was something to brag about but now, i beg to differ. This job is slowly killing me. I am doing coding on every system that can somehow be coded in php and VB, handling every IT helpdesk requests on regional level, and sorting out all the shit my two superiors left me. So i dont have a spare moment(no joke), and i miss my army daes. I miss those days where i can slack for half a day, doing absolutely nothing. I cant do that now, there is bound to have something to do.... God help me.

So as u can see, this job tires moi, and i am starting aikido multi dojo. So i got home around 12, sleep at 1, and wake up damn shag the next dae. And repeat for 5 days, i dont have time to spend money. And since my current work is earning much more, i got some spare money, and true to wat i have learnt before, no matter how bz or how much u earn, if u dont conciously save, u will spend them all. And i have picked up quite alot of "high class" vices. Stuff like drinking wine, going to restarants more often. God... I wish i can revert to my army expenses.

About wine, there are so many types, brewers, stuffs that makes it so exotic. But if u got use to the tannic acid, the musky taste that feels "itchy" on your tougue, u will slowly learn to like it. And so, like julian says, it is a aquired taste. But wine critic will say that its because modern ppl are brought up wif sweet stuff, like pepsi, coke, sweets, so when u taste wine, u confirm will find that it is bitter. But try whites for a start, then switch to fruity reds, like merlot, then u can try hardcore reds. And wine isnt expensive like wat ppl conceive. It is rather cheap for some good yet cheap brand. And a rather good wine bar is located below me workplace. So guys, i think u all will understand.

So much about this, i think i got something else to chat but the sleepyness is getting on me.... Take care...

In a poor attempt to keep moi blog short, and hopefully, sweet, i have decided not to say wat me poor and miserable life had been, and jump straight into the point of the day, which happens to be, WHY DO WE HATE JEWS? And surprisingly, if u do a search, there are quite a number of articles written on this subject. And i lift the whole passage from here.

Prejudice, it seems, is a standard fare of life. In his folksong entitled "National Brotherhood Week," Tom Lehrer sings:

Oh the Protestants hate the Catholics,
and the Catholics hate the Protestants,
and the Hindus hate the Moslems
and everybody hates the Jews.

(banedon's notes: Hmmm if u really hum it, it really rhymes. I love it man. But they should add, "With the atheist hating them all".)

In this song Lehrer expresses a truism, that hatred for the Jew is uniquely commonplace. The question is: Why?

What lies behind these millennia of hatred? Why has the undercurrent of anti-Semitism bubbled and boiled and exploded against Jews everywhere, time and again throughout history?

Historians propose six possible reasons.

It has been said that the history of almost all of the Jewish holidays can be summed up succinctly: "They wanted to kill us; we won. Let's eat." With increasing anti-Semitism -- in Europe, the World Court attack on Israel, in the movie theaters -- it is a good time to look at the causes of anti-Semitism and what we can do about it.

Between the years 250 CE and 1948 CE a period of 1,700 years Jews have experienced more than eighty expulsions from various countries in Europe an average of nearly one expulsion every twenty-one years. Jews were expelled from England, France, Austria, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, Bohemia, Moravia and seventy-one other countries.

Historians have classified six explanations as to why people hate the Jews:

Economic -- "We hate Jews because they possess too much wealth and power."

Chosen People -- "We hate Jews because they arrogantly claim that they are the chosen people."

Scapegoat -- "Jews are a convenient group to single out and blame for our troubles."

Deicide -- "We hate Jews because they killed Jesus."

Outsiders -- "We hate Jews because they are different than us." (The dislike of the unlike.)

Racial Theory -- "We hate Jews because they are an inferior race."

As we examine the explanations, we must ask -- Are they the causes for anti-Semitism or excuses for Anti-Semitism? The difference? If one takes away the cause, then anti-Semitism should no longer exist. If one can show a contradiction to the explanation, it demonstrates that the "cause" is not a reason, it is just an excuse. Let's look at some contradictions:

Economic -- The Jews of 17th- 20th century Poland and Russia were dirt poor, had no influence and yet they were hated.

Chosen People -- a) In the late 19th century, the Jews of Germany denied "Choseness." And then they worked on assimilation. Yet, the holocaust started there. b) Christians and Moslems profess to being the "Chosen people," yet, the world and the anti-Semites tolerate them.

Scapegoat -- Any group must already be hated to be an effective scapegoat. The Scapegoat Theory does not then cause anti-Semitism. Rather, anti-Semitism is what makes the Jews a convenient scapegoat target. Hitler's rantings and ravings would not be taken seriously if he said, "It's the bicycle riders and the midgets who are destroying our society."

Deicide -- a) the Christian Bible says the Romans killed Jesus, though Jews are mentioned as accomplices (claims that Jews killed Jesus came several hundred years later). Why are the accomplices persecuted and there isn't an anti-Roman movement throughout history? b) Jesus himself said, "Forgive them [i.e., the Jews], for they know not what they do." The Second Vatican Council in 1963 officially exonerated the Jews as the killers of Jesus. Neither statement of Christian belief lessened anti-Semitism.

Outsiders -- With the Enlightenment in the late 18th century, many Jews rushed to assimilate. Anti-Semitism should have stopped. Instead, for example, with the Nazis came the cry, in essence: "We hate you, not because you're different, but because you're trying to become like us! We cannot allow you to infect the Aryan race with your inferior genes."

Racial Theory -- The overriding problem with this theory is that it is self-contradictory: Jews are not a race. Anyone can become a Jew and members of every race, creed and color in the world have done so at one time or another.

Every other hated group is hated for a relatively defined reason. We Jews, however, are hated in paradoxes: Jews are hated for being a lazy and inferior race but also for dominating the economy and taking over the world. We are hated for stubbornly maintaining our separateness and, when we do assimilate for posing a threat to racial purity through intermarriages. We are seen as pacifists and as warmongers; as capitalist exploiters and as revolutionary communists; possessed of a Chosen-People mentality, as well as of an inferiority complex. It seems that we just can't win.

And so u have it, frm me, that it is all in their faces and maybe the star of david but anyway, i dont hate them. I hate protestant more. And i am not a catholic, if u r wondering. Why protestant? Why the hell would they go around and "muscle" ppl into their faith? WHY? And why are pretty(and dumb) girls fall so easily into it? If i have no backbone and not as sturborn as now, i would join city haverst(a protestant) and woo all the pretty ones there. And of course, screw them along the way. Damn, makes me wanna join... Cheaper than escorts and cleaner than prostitute, and of course, u got the kick of wooing someone.

And if there happen to have protestant reading this, just be reminded, dont flame me, dont stalk me, dont kill me, u will be comforted that i will burn in hell after i am dead. But hey, "GET OUT OF HELL FREE!!!". It simply dont exist. Period.
