Got this ancient video.

When i still with long hair... Hahahaha Ah Benz next to me.

Hahahaha heard of e ink? Electronic ink?

Seems like quite a number of makers are making oled/bendable lcds/electronic newspaper and the likes. Sony and Samsung both got a colored/bendable version now.

Got this from Gizmodo

E Ink's AM300 Dev Kit Capable of Quick Animations and Touch Input

Hahaha once i got one youtube to work, here comes another.

Why didnt i think of this? (I promise, in the future if i can remember, to make all my links clickable)

nuclear-powered-planes-will-not-assure-the-destruction-of-humankind

Hahahaha adding nuclear power to air planes! Cool hur? And its said nuclear power are pretty safe now, no melt down but what if it crashes? Plane crash is not that rare nowadays.

Hmmm... Will i live to see nuclear powered cars? Nuclear powered CPUs? Nuclear powered Laptops? Or even nuclear power Hoover?

And by scale of economics, the reactor core(i dont noe how this nuclear thing work, maybe later go see) cost the same as a battery now...

Technology...

Technology does have its own evil... (Beware, my first embedded youtube, this is evil enuff to be the first, dont noe if it works....)

Scary erh? Esp when elmo got no elbows... Elmo no elbows... Some how it looks spastic, but i believe this can woo quite a number of xiao mei mei if it came out when i was in sec sch...

Watch out! Elmo will take over the world someday! Maybe even win the 2008 US presidential elections... My... Why havent anyone came up with a elmo/ernie 08 election poster? Me too lazy...

Kapok this from GSSQ.

"I think that one possible definition of our modern culture is that it is one in which nine-tenths of our intellectuals can't read any poetry." - Randall Jarrell

Very true.

Anyone got Cai Qing or Jackie Chung old songs?

Seems like i will be updating this blog more often now.

Stumble upon this interesting article, Miller-Urey experiments, that shows synthesizing of organic materials from inorganic stuffs.

Excerpt from Wiki.

The experiment used water (H2O), methane (CH4), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen (H2), and carbon monoxide (CO). The chemicals were all sealed inside a sterile array of glass tubes and flasks connected together in a loop, with one flask half-full of liquid water and another flask containing a pair of electrodes. The liquid water was heated to induce evaporation, sparks were fired between the electrodes to simulate lightning through the atmosphere and water vapor, and then the atmosphere was cooled again so that the water could condense and trickle back into the first flask in a continuous cycle.
At the end of one week of continuous operation Miller and Urey observed that as much as 10–15% of the carbon within the system was now in the form of organic compounds. Two percent of the carbon had formed amino acids that are used to make proteins in living cells, with glycine as the most abundant. Sugars, lipids, and some of the building blocks for nucleic acids were also formed.

Hmmmm, one of the big grey areas in evolution cleared. Hahahaha and with the LHC created to test big bang, i believe we are all getting real close to the origin of everything.

Another interesting article, on gizmodo, Forget For Good: Chemicals Could Permanently Erase Memories One Day.

Hahahaha now we can forget whatever happened one day before. This comment on gizmodo, Remember: although you may be able to one day forget, it doesn't mean that others will too! Hahahahahah the wit.

Another good article that makes me think... Researchers Build X-Ray Machine With Scotch Tape.

Apparently Russian scientist discovered scotch tape can emit x rays 50 odd years ago... Some conspiracy from 3M?

Thats all for now, i think my blog is more of like my own journal/diary of sorts...

Do not pray for your own needs, for your prayer will not then be accepted. But when you want to pray, do so for the heaviness of the Head. For whatever you lack, the Divine Presence also lacks.

This is because man is a "portion of God from on high." Whatever any part lacks, also exists in the Whole, and the Whole feels the lack of the part, You should therefore pray for the needs of the Whole.

Yo ppl,

Im thinking of doing a "one pic per day, one liner caption only" on my blog as it will keep things interesting. But you know how lazy im.

I got my new toy, a technics SL 1200MK2 turntable! (It isnt really new, its a 10 yrs old Vinyl Player for SGD$400)

Yo ppl, long time no blog, dont think anyone actually does see my blog anymore.

Anyway, after i got my license, i got my first bike, a Honda Phantom 200cc, pretty cool.

After riding, i got into a couple of minor accidents, so minor i dont even noe if they are considered accidents, but im still walking around. I guess that means im fine.

The experiences i have from riding these 2 months are very very colorful; i shared some stories i had with my friends and they said i can come up with a book after one year of riding. Yeah, if you noe me well enuff, its actually my outlook of things thats interesting. Maybe if im not so lazy, i will get down to write(or type) something.

But as you know, there is always tomorrow.

Right now, i believed i am very hooked on lego, i so wanna get a big set (5000+ piece) to spend my time as samantha is not around, the loneliness feeling gets out of hand... Maybe i should go out and test my charm and see if i lose some.

Anyway, this is wat got me into lego.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv5iEK-IEzw

This clip on death star canteen. And i uncovered a whole lot of videos using legos.

They are filmed by this technique called stop-motion, im thinking of making one up.

So i need a good set. Like this.

http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=10179

Or even this.

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=10188&cn=240

But most prob, due to budget, onli this.

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=6212&cn=240

I do noe the importance of pictures in a blog to make it interesting, less words even, but its my blog.

Btw, my bday coming soon, any bpresents from above are more than welcome.

Maybe some good lightings, Nikon DSLR cameras(That can link with computers), space to keep all these stuffs, and some much needed passion.

I cant seem to find passion for anything, maybe night riding around singapore's expressways.(Do you know one full round(TPE,SLE,KLE,BKE,PIE,ECP back to TPE) takes 2 and a half hours?)

And some info on how to do stop motion is good too.

And maybe, just maybe, someone(chio, intelligent, young, sexy?) to do all this together.
