Okie so wats wif my life? Its aikido, aikido and aikido, peppered with my gf in the blanks spaces of time. And i bought a Larc En ciel concert DVD, its damn good. And i went back to collecting constantine comics. And i got 5 bottles of hard liqour at home.

As u all noe, i jsut finish reading "Memiors of a Geisha". My gf bought it but i grab frm her and finish in 2 days. Not a bad read, rather nice story wif a nice twist. Since my gf havent read it, i wouldnt spoil it for her. But the writing is sucky, much liek a memior. So much abt it.

So the hottest topic recently is the NKF issue. So many spoofs, jokes, and such is out on the net. I dont need to add, the recent news is not even on it anymore. Its more on the second UK bombing or the Huang Na case....

But anyway, being a singaporean for 24 excruciating years, i come to realize singaporeans is a inate bunch of ant like organism. We work, toll, complain, commute in this small island, indifferent to anything and everything around the world. President Nathan such a rotten president(inert one) wanted to continue a second term, no one gives a damn. UK was bombed seriously, after OIC got it to host olympics, no one gives a shit. Huang Na was a virgin when she died, no one couldnt care less. President Arroyo of philipines was damn corrupted, no one even knows.

So it really tickles me rite in the center of me funny bone when i heard NKF's HQ was vandalised shortly after the news of how much their CEO earns per annum. And they have 11 months of bonus. Damn me, i should have worked there man. And it shows how much they earn, along with the gold tap, 3k plus toilet bowl, 8 company cars for 6 ppl(guess they have to take in leaves and MCs) and flying first class.

In my 24 years as a singaporean, this is the greatest news ever happened in singapore, if greatness of the news is measured on how much the common man does regarding that news.

So a few k of ppl used this as an excuse to cancel their monthly donations, some vandalised, some drew comics online, some(like me) crap about it in their blogs.

So conclusion? U think onli NKF does this? And does you know NKF is strangely government linked? Doesnt the government do audits? U really think government dont noe? To them, it is good this way as it stimulates the economy. Make jobs for the plumber, the taps makers and such.

So NKF earns so much. Wat about the rest of the Non profit organisations? Who has came up and display wat they do with their donations? Church donations? Temple donations? THe money city harvest used to built its jurong church?

Hahahahaha. And u see how much the pastor is earning frm donation, the pastor that got jailed. And just imagine how many more ppl are doign these sorts of things out there. And mind you, we are talking about singapore, one of the lowest corruptions in the whole world. Maybe because the government has a hand in all these....

reporting my latest update:

i finally bought memoirs of geisha (which simply means i didn't do anything for the japanese readings) but i heard the english sucks but the story is good. oh well.... i already bought the book, hope that i will be able to read through the whole book.

Tuition seems to be a norm in singapore context and leaves quite an impression on most people. therefore, i would think that it would be appropriate to start on this topic today.

i've went through tuition classes before in my secondary school days and my teacher sucks. well, he was from srjc. the news naturally makes me have lower expectations of the tutor. say i am biased, but the truth remains, he is a srjcian and srjc is among the last of the junior colleges when ranked in singapore (even until now....)[SRJC is a good school, it's just the student that makes reputation so bad. trust me alright? i know it)

thus, we had physics tuition over at my friend's house and guess what? he just reads from the book. i was like WTH... (trying to be civilised) i could do that myself and don't need him to just read from the book. he thinks i pay him just to make him read from that textbook. DISAPPOINTMENT was the only word i could describe for that one-month long tuition (if i could make it one lesson, i will be off in a wHoosh)

i did some maths tuition some time back and i feel that tuition is useless... i can just teach the girl without any money. she knows her stuffs. the mere thing of what she lack is practice and i feel that this applies to many that are having tution now. i know of a friend who practically just slept through her tuition and the tutor didn't care. i would say that laziness is just a natural part of human but sometimes, fear of the future just makes people study. (the reason why i am still in uni is merely this)

my official code of what a tutor is for:

TUTOR is just a person who sees that you finish your assessment book. NOTHING ELSE.
actually, most tutors just sit down and read comic and mark what you have done. that's all they do.

of course, i wouldn't just forget those who are really good at teaching but normally, these people are teachers/ex-teachers. how much can you expect from a jc student to teach you when he/she has't even finish his/her study??

was a little surprised when i clicked to her site and saw a white background blog (since she was so into pink stuffs, i doubt that white will be suitable for her)
apparently, someone hates her so much that he/she must hack her site. somehow, i don't feel a tinge of sadness since she is repeating and repeating her story for so many times. it's almost like pleading for people to take pity on her. i also doubt that her site will be restored since i think the hacker will just delete and wHoosh it away. and she was thinking of the hacker going through 2000 mails to find the important contacts. seriously, i think if the hacker really saved her mails, he/she will start looking throught the mails (cause there are important things inside) and start to make prank calls or sending mass mails to us regarding the contacts. i suppose xiaxue is too flustered to think about what to write and just tell us about it. haha..... call me a sadist, i don't really care.... but don't hack my account alright? i am just an anonymous writer that is writing her thoughts down.

what i think xiaxue will write in the future:
you mother f*****, you must be jealous of my work, my popularity. f****** c**** ^%#$#*...

i suppose she will just have a lot of vulgarities saying that people are jealous of her blog.

not much observation that i observe these days because i am totally into work and just stare in space whenever i am out of the office. so just bear with me... i think i will be my usual self when i get on back to school.

suddenly i thought of some points:

aunties usually regret it when their sons don't get married.

when i went for breakfast with my mum, we went to this place where homemakers and uncles gather to eat free bread and coffee. upon passing by the place, we decided to drop by to say hi to her friends. we were talking about BGR and it went on and on whereby one of the females there is talking about how her daughter met the husband in university at the last semester of the university life.
she said that she don't mind getting a divorced daughter-in-law, having children is also an open option. i was presently surprised by the openness of the female because in that generation, i still feel that quite a lot females are conservative and still hold on tiedly to their set of values.

However, i knew why she was so open after hearing something. her son is 35 and has not got married yet.... i guess she still holds on to her traditional values even though she declared that she is open to options. she did add that her son has preference for older females during university years and obviously, she has objected it (due to traditional reasons again) and now, she is anxious for her son to get married now. so there goes my reasoning for my observation above.

haha... as i am working now and my bosses has flown to somewhere else to do their work, i am left with one unknown position guy who works under my boss as well. after the bosses has flown away, the guy immediately called to the clients and say that my boss is not in and that he can hold the meeting with them. i was like ("...") when i heard this. later that evening, he wanted my to help him do some stuffs and i was like "okay" and he started giving me weird instructions like "u use your logic to see which one are applicable to cars" and i was like staring at him with a blank face then he tell me "different oil brand may apply to ......." i was not listening to him already. then see the difference between the 2 brands" i was like ("huh? what are u saying??!!!") then he showed me some eg but still i didn't catch his point on the logic stuffs. wha siao.... he is so bossy i nearly wanted to slap him. haha.... alright.. here he comes and already talking to the directors already.... sheesh..... i will remind myself not to be bossy next time. really feel like throwing stuffs at him now. i think i am starting to experience office life finally.

i feel that the blog is getting too quiet these days but due to the fact that both banedon and i are working, it is quite impossible to write a blog with contents in it (in fact, my blogs are usually observations with no deeper thoughts in it.)

seriously, i think my work is rather enjoyable.... my boss is good, all my work is copy and paste and i have tons of breaks (although this one is self-declared because my boss is talking to the client and i supposedly finish what i was appointed to do.) actually, having a job was suppose to make me work harder in school than before but with this job, i think it was not doing any boosting at all. i truly fear that when i get back to school, i would be relaxing throughout the semester.

during lunch, i was chatting with my boss as we were having lunch and surprisingly, there something called MMR. i bet you only know mms and msn but not MMR. now, i would tell you what MMR means. it means masters for market research. has to do with a lot of statistics and making up questions for the people who are taking the survey. the sole existence of it surprised me (although i know of a story where a girl got scholarship for forestry over at america)
and i heard that there is only like 4 university in america that offer this course.
conclusion: i am writing something that you may not know and that next time when u hear mmr, u will know what is it.

another conclusion: i feel that girls from china have the tendency to like to cook unlike singaporeans girls (the number that can cook are nearing non-existence) so if you guys out there wants someone who cooks you may consider a PRC. hahaz...

next thought: why do london get bombed the next day after they got to hold 2012 olympics? i am not sure but maybe, just maybe, the terrorists are trying to hint to the world that they want olympics to be held in pakistan (is that the place? i can't remember) (i know this is crap but i am just giving a possible suggestion)

next observation: when japan held olympics, the torch was in a shape of samurai sword and i think it's really iconic. good choice... i have seen a couple of others and they look weird and i can't remember. see? i can only remember japan. thus, next time in 2008, china should use a bamboo stick. as i was strolling in the supermarket while waiting for banedon to finish his work, i went to the supermarket to take a stroll ( i know you must be thinking that i am crazy or something like that but there is nothing to shop there.) while i was there, i was looking at the food, tempted to eat junk food again(my workplace is going to become a junk site sooner or later) and i came across a box of drink from some chocolate company and here are the instructions

After i came out of the supermarket, i came across a gardernia advertisement which showed 5/6 people who are holding the bread and make a smile shape using the bread.

maybe i can't understand this kind of advertisement but i feel that the above makes me feel that the companies are thinking that singaporeans are dumb. totally not innovative and dumb. dun bombard me for this issue. i just feel injustice for all of us here having to see this kind of advertisements and have no choice but to endure with it.
